PART TIME REMOTE DATA ENTRY / VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for transferring data from one source to another using data entry equipment, word processing, or verbal recordings. You will need to accurately type at a fast speed to be successful in this position.
Data Entry Specialist Duties And Responsibilities
Enter data into appropriate fields, databases, records, and files.
Transfer data from paper formats via computer, recorders, or scanners.
Handle numerical data accurately, create spreadsheets, and organize large amounts of data.
Curate data directly from speech or interviews.
Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available.
View and verify confidential or private customer/client information; protect the information and identities of customers/clients.
Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation.
Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed.
Data Entry Specialist Requirements And Qualifications
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Skilled in generating process documentation.
Team player who is willing to assist others in accomplishing team goals.
Fast and accurate typist.
Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them closely.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or bachelors degree in business, administration, or related field preferred.
Knowledge of touch typing system preferred.
